I believe print is going to make a comeback.

We shifted to digital-only because it is convenient. We move around a lot more nowadays, which makes it tedious to carry around cartons of books and papers. Being on the road also helps split our time between mind-meandering and learning new skills. Hence the proliferation of e-book readers, podcasts, audio books, etc.

We also moved to digital because using up too much paper was rather unfriendly to the planet, and not everyone loves the look and smell of recycled paper.

That said, is digital a really sustainable alternative? Are we really just piling up more information in our heads and folders? Isn't it time to reflect upon our energy usage everytime we upload our thoughts to the cloud?

Hopefully, Kriti Magazine will also see expansion into print editions in the near future.
