This festive season, Five Point Five unveils Shringaar, a collection inspired by the many rituals of adornment that define Indian celebrations.
The word Shringaar is rooted in the timeless tradition of “getting ready” - from applying kohl and alta, to adorning jewellery and silks - gestures that are as much about joy and self-expression as they are about beauty.
Staying true to its philosophy of weaving heritage into the now, Five Point Five continues its association with clusters in Benaras and Bengal, presenting a mix of luminous silks and textured tussar saris. These drapes highlight the finesse of Indian handcraft while offering versatile elegance for festive wardrobes.
For the very first time, and on popular demand, the brand extends its repertoire beyond saris with the introduction of a capsule line of stitched suit sets.
Thoughtfully crafted in chanderi, linen, and silks, the capsule revisits Five Point Five’s bestselling weaves in a new, easy, ready-to-wear format, offering patrons a wider canvas to experience the brand’s textile story.
Adding a nostalgic yet refreshing note to the collection is the return of Dibya, one of Five Point Five’s most celebrated tissue saris. Reimagined as Dibya 2.0, the ethereal weave is now seen as a dupatta, paired with a black chanderi suit speckled with zari bootas - a reinvention that bridges heritage with modern wearability.
