Ballygunge has long been known for housing the crème de la crème of artists in South Kolkata. Today when you pass by the lanes, you will notice how the Parisian cafés represent the true spirit of the city—creating space for the new while embracing the walls filled with wisdom.

Weavers Studio, established by Darshan Shah, has stood the test of time with its commitment to carrying forward the legacy of handcrafted textiles. Among Darshan Shah’s stellar contributions to this field is her journey with Indigo that sits at the perfect intersection of her love for Bengal and Japan. Indigo has voiced revolutions, presented a plant-based option to contemporary designers and continues to add glamour to runways and warmth to social gatherings. It is our honour to share a collection of moments from Darshan Shah’s journey with Indigo.
