The year 1994 gave us two memorable gifts—Sushmita Sen's win at Miss Universe and the grandeur of Hum Aapke Hai Kaun. One taught us to keep our heads high, while the other set the benchmark for wedding celebrations in India.

When I requested Ria for the cover story, she immediately replied with 'Omg Yes!'—which is all you want to hear from a bride. What followed are weeks of trust in each other and in technology, to bring the wedding story of Lilabare's incredible designer from the foothills of Mt. Kilimanjaro to the deltaic plains of West Bengal.

Supporting me in this edition are Satyaki Chanda on the Cover design and Manasvi Agarwal on the Cover campaign. Satyaki could be designing for the most celebrated artists, but he still remembers to bring finesse and help his friend elevate the craft. And Manasvi brings what the world needs right now, a fresh pair of eyes with a heart full of love.

Be it an intimate gathering or a larger-than-life celebration, as long as weddings involve happy families, all is well!
